How to create a Wi-Fi QR code for your shop, office or café
Let customers and guests join your Wi-Fi by scanning a code instead of typing the password, and print it on a table card or poster.

Typing a long Wi-Fi password is the most common request staff get in cafés, clinics and offices. A Wi-Fi QR code lets guests join in one scan with the phone camera, on both iPhone and Android.
Create your Wi-Fi QR code
- Open the QR code generator and choose Wi-Fi.
- Enter the network name exactly as it appears on phones, the password and the security type (usually WPA/WPA2/WPA3).
- Choose a size: 1000 px or "Print" for posters, and SVG if a designer will place it in artwork.
- Download and print.
Where to put it
- Table tents or stickers in cafés and waiting rooms.
- The reception counter and meeting rooms.
- A guest welcome card in short-stay rentals.
Tips
- Use a separate guest network, not the one your till and office computers use.
- If you change the password, create and print a new code; the old one stops working.
- Print at least 3 cm wide, dark on a light background, and add a line such as "Scan to join our Wi-Fi".
The code stores the network details directly, so it works offline and never expires.
