How to extract or remove pages from a PDF

Sometimes you only need part of a document: one signed page, the chapter a colleague asked for, or every page as a separate file to upload one by one. Splitting a PDF takes seconds.

Two ways to split

• Every page: each page becomes its own PDF, delivered in a zip.
• Page ranges: type ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8-z. Each range becomes one PDF. z means the last page.

Open Split PDF, choose the file, pick the mode and download.

How to remove pages from a PDF

To delete pages, keep the ranges you want instead. For a 10-page file where you want to drop page 4, enter 1-3, 5-z and you will get two parts; merge them back with Merge PDF if you need a single file.

Fix sideways pages at the same time

Scanned pages are often upside down or sideways. Rotate PDF turns all pages or just the ones you list, for example 2, 4-6.

Examples

• Send only the signature page of a contract: 12.
• Separate a combined bank statement by quarter: 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.
• Remove a cover page: 2-z.
